Our Technician Assistant - Rebecca

Rebecca joined the Westland team in early September of 2021 and has since fallen into the clinic’s dynamic seamlessly. Having started in the veterinary industry 6 years ago after completing the Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program at Robertson College, Becca’s ample experience with small animals is a real asset to the team. Her easy going outlook and playful spirit bring a lightness to the work day that is appreciated greatly by the staff. As a child, Becca had aspirations of becoming a veterinarian, though this is something she may pursue in the future, she has discovered a true sense of fulfillment as an assistant. There is no small task completed by Becca that is unworthy of recognition. It all needs to get done to serve the animals and Becca is the girl for the job. As a native to the area, this Calgarian loves to explore her city; if it’s singing karaoke at a local bar or taking a trip to the mountains for a scenic hike, it’s all about enjoying the life you live. Becca expresses her creative side through her awesome Halloween costumes every year, make sure to ask her about her DIY designs next time you stop by the clinic! When she is not busy loving on your fur babies, Becca has a shepherd mix named Ruby and a bearded dragon named Acacia at home.
