Our RVT - EmilyBorn in Montreal, Emily's love for animals has been a constant thread in the fabric of her life. Though her roots were in Montreal until the age of 8, she blossomed further in Calgary. As a teenager, Emily's passion deepened, directing her interests towards animal health, nutrition, and behavior. A pivotal moment occurred during a veterinary volunteer expedition to Costa Rica in 2019, where she discovered the profound impact of a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) and fell head over heels for the profession. Graduating from Olds College in February 2022, Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her career. Beyond the clinic, her nurturing extends to a standard poodle named Kaladin, an adept partner in rally obedience and agility, as well as two feline companions, Kip and Alaska. Emily's pursuits outside the realm of veterinary care reveal a well-rounded individual - a painter, avid hiker, fantasy literature enthusiast, and a dedicated dog trainer. Her colleagues cherish her for being an awesome, hard-working collaborator who enriches the workplace with her diverse interests and skills.
